Epstein’s 2006 Annual Celebration Honorees!

The Epstein School's  event of the year will take place on
Sunday, March 19, 2006 at 5:30 pm at Ahavath Achim Synagogue. 

The community is invited to join us as we  "Celebrate our Dreams and Dreamers" and pay tribute to two people that have made a huge difference at The Epstein School and the Atlanta community, Mr. Jerry Weiner and Dr. Stephen Oppenheimer.

The celebration includes:

 *An amazing silent auction

*A cocktail party with fabulous food

*And an exciting program!

About The Distinguished Honorees:

When looking at the attributes of both Steve and Jerry you see how committed they are to Epstein and the Atlanta Jewish Community. Both have served on the Board of Trustees at The Epstein School, and held numerous leadership positions. Together, they chaired and produced the infrastructure for phase one of our first endowment campaign, ImaginEpstein. They have both served on the Boards of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, Jewish Family Services & Career Services and Israel Bonds.

Individually, Steve is active in the Jewish Dental Fraternity – Alpha Omega, Atlanta Yad, The Advisory Council to the Southeast Israeli Consulate, AIPAC and is the current President of the Board of Directors of Hillel of Georgia. Jerry is Treasurer of the Board for the Atlanta Jewish Home, on the Board of the Weber School, VP- Resource Development for Congregation Beth Shalom, Chair of Resource Development Committee at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta.

The Co-Chairs for the Annual Celebration are Linda Diamond, Marcy Oppenheimer and Tamar Stern.
