John Ritter   1948-2003

This is my tribute to John Ritter.

I can remember watching Three's Company when I was a kid.  I loved "Jack Tripper," and the way he used to clown around on the set with "Mr. Roper, Janet, and Chrissy."  I thought it was neat because Suzanne Somers' name on the show was the same as mine!

I watched John Ritter in movies like Problem Child and Problem Child 2,  & Bride of Chucky, just to name a few that you might know!

He was an accomplished actor with many TV credits and voiceovers - he will be missed greatly!

I am so crushed by his death.  Asia was just telling me the other day that she LOVED Three's Company (it comes on "Nick at Nite" on the Nickelodeon Channel).  She loved the way he pretended to be someone he wasn't just so Mr. Roper would let him be roommates with Janet and Chrissy.

Asia is at school right now, 9/12/03, 10:00 a.m. and I will have to break the news to her after school.

I really have enjoyed watching 8 Simple Rules to Dating My Teenage Daughter over the past year, co-starring Katey Sagal, Kaley Cuoco, Amy Davidson, Martin Spanjers, and Billy Aaron Brown.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of John Ritter, especially Amy Yasbeck, his wife of four years, and Stella, his baby girl.
